At popcorn-uk.com, we want to make your shopping experience as enjoyable as possible. This section aims to answer any questions you may have about product ordering, delivery, returns & exchange policies.

How do I place an order?

At popcorn-uk.com we want to make your shopping experience as easy as possible. If you are a new customer, this page contains step-by-step information about how to place your first order.

Finding what you want to buy.

If you know what you want to buy, you can search for an item by:  

  • typing a keyword into the search box which appears at the top of every page (this can be the name of a product such as ‘Philips Toaster’ or a more generic search such as ‘toasters’.
  • clicking on one of the categories located in the top menu bar (i.e. lighting, kitchen etc) and then browsing through the sub-categories
  • clicking on the manufacturer menu and selecting the manufacturer of the product you are looking for
  • searching through the Most Searched,  New or Sale lists that appear throughout the site  

To find out information about a product, click its name or the product image to go its product information page. Here you'll find:

  • a larger image of the item
  • product information and specification  

Adding an item to your shopping basket

The Shopping Basket is where you store the items you want to buy. You can always delete items from the Shopping Basket or save them for later if you change your mind.  

When you find what you want (or what you might want) click the "Add to Shopping Basket" button.  

You can add as many items to your shopping basket as you wish. When you've added everything you want to the Shopping Basket, click the "Your Basket" button. This will take you to a page detailing the full contents of your shopping basket. Here you will have the option to delete items, if required.  

Once you are happy with your selection, click the ‘Checkout’ button to begin processing your order. 

Creating an account

New customers will need to create an account before proceeding with their order. This will only take a few minutes and you will be able to securely store your payment and delivery details for future orders.  

When you click the ‘New Customer’ button you will be taken to a form, which you will need to complete in full.  

Personal Details

The form will ask you for your name and delivery address.. Please note that the order must be delivered to your card-registered home address.  

Log in details

Your email address will become your ‘Sign in’ name, so please double check you have entered your email details correctly.  

Choose a password for your account. Popcorn-uk.com will not choose a password for you. You'll be able to use your e-mail address and password to make changes to your order and account information any time you like, so make sure you remember which e-mail address and password you used. Once the account is set up, ipopcorn-uk.com will email you a reminder of your log in details.  

Payment Details

Next, you will be asked to fill in your payment details. We accept Visa, Delta, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro, Solo. All orders must be prepaid. Please enter card numbers without spaces or dashes.  

You will then be asked to confirm your order. Check over your order details and when you are ready click ok. You will receive a message on screen saying ‘Thank you for your order’.

If you wish to cancel an order, please email our Customer Service team.  

How safe is shopping on popcorn-uk.com?

Popcorn-uk.com maintains the highest levels of security. Our site uses high-level SSL encryption technology, the most advanced security software currently available for online transactions.

You can therefore rest assured that we take the privacy and security of your payment and personal details very seriously.  

What do I do if my product breaks down during the guarantee period?

Look for any visible signs of the breakdown and consult the troubleshooting guide in the manufacturer`s handbook or on their website. If the problem cannot be solved, please contact the product manufacturer. You will be asked for details of the model number and date of purchase. Your despatch note provides this information and acts as your guarantee, so please make sure that you keep it throughout your guarantee period.  

When will my products be delivered?

After you have placed your order online, we will send you an order confirmation email. We will email you a despatch note once your item has been despatched. Most items will be despatched via courier within 1-4 days. 

How long will it take to receive a refund from returned products?

The product you wish to return must be in a saleable condition in its original, undamaged packaging, as we will consider the overall condition of the product being returned when making a refund. If we are satisfied with the returned item, we will refund the price of the item and delivery charge to the purchaser or exchange the product as soon as it is received by us. This will usually reach that account within 14 working days. Timings will, however, depend on the speed with which your credit/debit card company process the credit.
